What Does Meguiars Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer Do?

Meguiars Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer is perfect for use on any exterior plastic, vinyl, and rubber trim. It turns the dull black of the plastic into a deep rich shine. It's long-lasting and provides UV protection. This restorer is useful on bumpers, moulds, door handles and much more. Other advantages include its non-greasy formula that doesn't streak when the treated surface gets wet.

Step 1: Preparing Your Trim

You need to make sure your surface is clean. You can use a multi-purpose car cleaner to remove any dirt and grease. Use a microfibre cloth to thoroughly clean your trim and give yourself a blank canvas to work on.

Dry off any excess moisture with a drying cloth.

Step 2: Using Meguiars Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer

Apply the product to a clean microfibre cloth. Start with a little bit and add more as needed.

Massage the product over the entire surface evenly, making sure not to miss any spots.

This product is fast drying and doesn't need to be removed, however, you may want to take a clean microfibre cloth and wipe away any excess.

If the finish you're looking for hasn't been achieved, you may want to repeat this step once or twice more for especially weathered plastic.
